Because many of our items are handmade or restored antiques:

Each piece may contain natural variations, imperfections, patina, or marks consistent with age and craftsmanship.

No two items will be identical.

Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly.
We make every effort to display colors and finishes accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your device will display them correctly.
Antique Disclaimer
Antique and vintage items are sold as-is unless otherwise stated.
Due to their age:

Structural irregularities may exist.

Signs of wear are normal.
-
We cannot guarantee longevity of original antique materials.
Restoration work improves stability and appearance but does not make antiques “new.”
Custom Orders
For custom-made or restoration projects:

A non-refundable deposit of 15% is required before work begins.

Estimated completion times are provided as guidelines only.

Custom orders cannot be canceled once production or restoration has begun.

Final balance must be paid before delivery or collection.
Design approvals must be confirmed in writing before work begins.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including images, designs, logos, and text—is the property of The Gilded Workshop.

Custom furniture designs remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product or service.

We are not responsible for misuse, improper care, or natural wear and tear.
Warranty
We provide a limited workmanship warranty of 5 years covering structural defects under normal residential use.
This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Environmental damage (humidity, temperature changes, improper care to name a few)

Improper use

Commercial use (unless agreed in writing)
Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for non-custom items.
After 24 hours, cancellations are subject to approval and may incur fees.
Custom and restoration projects cannot be canceled once work has begun.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
Care and Maintenance
Customers are responsible for proper care of furniture and restored items. Care instructions will be provided where applicable.
Failure to follow care instructions may void any applicable warranty.
